Legal Clinics for Law Students

Clinical legal education is essential tool for ensuring that the law students enter the legal profession with practical skills and an understanding of the importance of the right to effective counsel. PDS-Nepal has trained more than 50 law students through its clinical program, including 35 female students. Currently 15 law students from Nepal Law Campus and National Law College and 3 legal practitioners recommended by Nepal Bar Association are undergoing internship program with PDS-Nepal. Clinical students assist the office in providing quality representation to individual clients, expanding PDS-Nepal's capacity to both reach and represent poor and marginalized accused.
