Working with Justice Sector

PDS-Nepal is working with the Nepal Bar Association (NBA) to develop performance standards and guidelines for the provision of criminal defense services in Nepal, as well as clear to conduct a legal requirements for assigned counsel and legal aid lawyers. PDS-Nepal is also working with the NBA awareness campaign for citizens and members of the justice sector in ten districts throughout Nepal.

PDS-Nepal also working with Court, Police, Public Prosecutor, Court officers, defense bar to respect defendent constitutional right -Right to Counsel and advocating for Early Access to legal Representation.
